UPDATE: LeBron James is available for Game 2.

On Thursday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers will be back in Colorado to face off against the Denver Nuggets at Ball Arena for Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals.

The Nuggets took Game 1 of the series (on Tuesday night in Colorado) by a score of 132-126.

While the Lakers played well in the second half, they dug themselves in a deep hole, trailing by 18 points at halftime.

For Game 2, superstar forward LeBron James is on the injury report listed as probable.

Since James is listed as probable, he will more than likely be in the starting lineup (he has yet to miss a game in the 2023 NBA Playoffs).

James is 38 years old but remains among the league's best players.

Through the first 13 games of the Playoffs, the four-time NBA Champion has averages of 23.6 points, 10.2 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 1.2 blocks per contest.

He is in his 20th season in the league (and his fifth playing for the Lakers).

In 2020, James led the franchise to the NBA Championship over the Miami Heat, and they beat the Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals that season.

Through the first two rounds of the Playoffs, the Lakers have defeated the Memphis Grizzlies and Golden State Warriors (both in six games).

As for the Nuggets, they are the first seed and have beaten the Minnesota Timberwolves (in five games) and the Phoenix Suns (in six games) in the first two rounds.

The winner of the series will advance to the 2023 NBA Finals and face off against either the Miami Heat or the Boston Celtics.
