UPDATE: LeBron James is available.

On Saturday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers are hosting the Golden State Warriors for Game 3 of their second-round playoff series.

For the game, LeBron James is on the injury report

However, the four-time NBA Champion is listed as probable, so he will likely be in the starting lineup.

Through the first eight games of the 2023 NBA Playoffs, James has impressive averages of 22.3 points, 10.6 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.4 blocks per contest while shooting 47.7% from the field.

In the first round, the Lakers defeated the Memphis Grizzlies in six games, and they are currently tied up at 1-1 with the Golden State Warriors after Games 1 and 2 at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

The Lakers finished the regular season as the seventh seed in the Western Conference and had a 43-39 record.

That said, they have one of the most talented rosters in the league and will have a legitimate chance to win the 2023 NBA Championship.

During their first-round series with the Grizzlies, the Lakers were in the exact same position, as they won Game 1 but lost Game 2 (with Games 3 and 4 on their home floor in Los Angeles).

The Warriors won Games 5 and 7 of their first-round series (on the road) against the Sacramento Kings but are just 13-32 in the 45 games they have played away from San Francisco this season.

In addition, the Lakers have gone 4-2 in their six matchups (3-1 during the regular season).
