Los Angeles Clippers All-Star Paul George was forced to leave Tuesday night's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder late in the fourth quarter after suffering a right knee/leg injury.

After grabbing a rebound in mid-air, George landed on his right leg as Oklahoma City's Luguentz Dort bumped into him and Dort made significant contact with George's right leg.

The Clippers star landed awkwardly and was down on the floor for several minutes before having to be helped up and to the locker room.

While Los Angeles has not given any updates on George's injury, this did not look good at all, as George's right knee can be seen bending inward awkwardly and quite possibly hyperextending.

Following this loss on Tuesday night to the Thunder, the Clippers are now 38-34 on the season, just one game up on the Golden State Warriors for the 5-seed in the Western Conference and just 1.5 games ahead of the Play-In Tournament.

Losing Paul George for any amount of time would be devastating for the Clippers, especially since they have had to deal with several key injuries through the years that have limited their abilities to contend for a championship.

Entering this game against the Thunder, George had played in 55 games for Los Angeles this season, averaging 23.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game while shooting 45.6 percent from the floor and 37.5 percent from three-point range.

Paul George finished Tuesday's game with 18 points, seven rebounds, five assists and three steals in 35 minutes of play.

Further updates on George's injury will likely be provided by the Clippers on Wednesday.
