UPDATE: Luka Doncic's Current Injury Status For Mavs-Lakers Game

Luka Doncic is on the injury report for Wednesday's game.

On Wednesday evening, the Dallas Mavericks will be in California to face off against the Los Angeles Lakers.  

For the game, the Mavs could be without their best player, as All-Star Luka Doncic is on the injury report. 

Doncic has missed each of the previous three games, so this would be his fourth straight out of the lineup (if he doesn't play). 

Via ESPN's Tim MacMahon on Tuesday: "Luka Doncic is questionable vs. Lakers tomorrow after missing the last three games with a sprained ankle. Derrick Jones Jr. (calf) is probable. Dante Exum (plantar) remains out."

Doncic has played in 34 games and has averages of 33.6 points, 8.1 rebounds, 9.1 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 48.5% from the field and 38.0% from the three-point range.  

The Mavs are the fifth seed in the Western Conference with a 24-17 record in their first 41 games.  

They are 6-4 over their last ten games and most recently beat CJ McCollum and the New Orleans Pelicans by a score of 125-120.   

Following the Lakers, the Mavs will travel to San Francisco to face off against Klay Thompson and the Golden State Warriors on Friday. 

As for the Lakers, they are the tenth seed in the Western Conference with a 20-21 record in their first 41 games. 

They are 4-6 over their last ten games and most recently beat the Oklahoma City Thunder by a score of 112-105.
