UPDATE: Luka Doncic's Current Injury Status For Nuggets-Mavs Game

On Sunday afternoon, the Dallas Mavericks will host Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets in Texas.
For the game, the Mavs could be without their best player, as five-time NBA All-Star Luka Doncic is on the injury report.
Doncic missed the team's last game, so this would be his second straight out of the lineup (if he doesn't play).

Doncic is in the middle of an incredible season with averages of 34.3 points, 9.0 rebounds, 9.8 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 49.4% from the field and 37.8% from the three-point range in 58 games.
The Mavs are the eighth seed in the Western Conference with a 38-29 record in 67 games.
They have gone 5-5 over their last ten games and most recently lost to Chet Holmgren and the Oklahoma City Thunder by a score of 126-119.
Following the Nuggets, the Mavs will play their next game on Tuesday evening when they visit Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs.
As for the Nuggets, they are the second seed in the Western Conference with a 47-20 record in 67 games.
They have gone 9-1 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a five-game winning streak.
Most recently, the Nuggets beat the Spurs by a score of 117-106.
Jokic led the way with 31 points, seven rebounds, five assists and two blocks.
Following the Spurs, the Nuggets will play their next game on Tuesday evening when they visit the Minnesota Timberwolves.
