UPDATE: Luka Doncic's Current Injury Status For Suns-Mavs Game

Luka Doncic is on the injury report for Wednesday's game.

On Wednesday evening, the Dallas Mavericks will host Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns in Texas.  

For the game, the Mavs could be without their best player, as All-Star Luka Doncic is on the injury report.

Doncic has played in 36 games and is averaging 33.6 points, 8.5 rebounds, 9.3 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 48.2% from the field and 37.4% from the three-point range. 

The Mavs are the eighth seed in the Western Conference with a 24-19 record in their first 43 games. 

They are in the middle of a two-game losing streak and are 5-5 over their last ten games. 

Most recently, the Mavs lost to Jaylen Brown and the Boston Celtics by a score of 119-110. 

In 40 minutes of playing time, Doncic had 33 points, 18 rebounds, 13 assists and two steals while shooting 12/30 from the field and 2/8 from the three-point range. 

Following the Suns, the Mavs will face off against Clint Capela and the Atlanta Hawks on Friday evening at State Farm Arena. 

As for the Suns, they are the sixth seed in the Western Conference with a 25-18 record in their first 43 games.  

They are one of the hottest teams in the league and are in the middle of a seven-game winning streak. 

In addition, they are 7-3 over their last ten games and are 11-7 in the 18 games they have played on the road away from Arizona.
