Luka Doncic's Official Injury Status For Mavs-Timberwolves Game

Luka Doncic is on the injury report for Thursday's game.

On Thursday evening, the Dallas Mavericks will be in Minnesota to face off against the Timberwolves at the Target Center.  

For the game, the Mavs will be without their best player, as All-Star Luka Doncic has been ruled out.

Doncic has played in 29 games so far this season and is averaging 33.7 points, 8.4 rebounds, 9.2 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 48.9% from the field and 38.4% from the three-point range. 

The Mavs are the sixth seed in the Western Conference with an 18-13 record in their first 31 games. 

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and most recently lost to Jarrett Allen and the Cleveland Cavaliers by a score of 113-110.  

In 37 minutes of playing time, Doncic had 39 points, seven rebounds, six assists, two steals and two blocks while shooting 14/29 from the field and 3/10 from the three-point range. 

Following the Timberwolves, the Mavs will visit Klay Thompson and the Golden State Warriors on Saturday evening at the Chase Center in San Francisco. 

As for the Timberwolves, they are the first seed in the Western Conference with a 22-7 record in their first 29 games. 

They are 7-3 over their last ten games but most recently lost to Chet Holmgren and the Oklahoma City Thunder by a score of 129-106. 

Following the Mavs, the Timberwolves will host LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday evening at the Target Center.
