On Friday evening, the Dallas Mavericks will host the Detroit Pistons in Texas.
For the game, the Mavs could be without their best player, as All-Star forward Luka Doncic is on the injury report.
Via ESPN's Tim MacMahon on Thursday: "Kyrie Irving’s streak of 31 consecutive games played will end tomorrow night. He’s listed as out vs. Pistons due to left hamstring soreness.

Luka Doncic (left ankle soreness) is questionable.
Doncic has had a sensational year with averages of 33.9 points, 9.2 rebounds, 9.8 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 48.7% from the field and 38.2% from the three-point range in 70 games.
The Mavs are the fifth seed in the Western Conference with a 50-30 record in 80 games.
They have gone 9-1 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a five-game winning streak.

Most recently, the Mavs defeated the Miami Heat (in Florida) by a score of 111-92.
Doncic finished with 39 points, 12 rebounds, ten assists and one block while shooting 13/25 from the field and 8/17 from the three-point range.
Following the Pistons, the Mavs will visit the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday afternoon.

As for the Pistons, they have had a tough season and are the 15th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 13-67 record in 80 games.
They have gone 1-9 over their last ten games.
Following Dallas, the Pistons will play their next game on Sunday afternoon when they visit the San Antonio Spurs in Texas.
