UPDATE: Malik Monk's Injury Status For Suns-Kings Game

On Friday evening, the Sacramento Kings will host the Phoenix Suns in California.
For the game, the Kings could be without one of their best players, as Malik Monk is on the injury report.
Via Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee: "Kings guard Malik Monk is questionable for Friday's game against the Suns due to right foot irritation. JaVale McGee is questionable with right wrist irritation."
Monk has played in all 26 games so far this season and is averaging 14.6 points, 2.6 rebounds and 5.2 assists per contest while shooting 43.1% from the field and 41.9% from the three-point range.
The Kings are 16-10 in their first 26 games, which has them as the fourth seed in the Western Conference.
They are 6-4 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Boston Celtics by a score of 144-119.
In 25 minutes of playing time, Monk had ten points, two rebounds and five assists while shooting 3/10 from the field.
Following the Suns, the Kings will play their next game on Saturday evening when they host Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves.
As for the Suns, they are the ninth seed in the Western Conference with a 14-13 record in their first 27 games.
They are 3-7 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Portland Trail Blazers by a score of 109-104.
Following the Kings, the Suns will play their next game on Monday evening when they host Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks.
