UPDATE: ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Julius Randle will likely miss Game 1.

On Sunday afternoon, the Miami Heat and New York Knicks are facing off at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

For the game, both teams have announced their injury reports (updated as of 11:30 Eastern Time).

The Heat have ruled out Tyler Herro and Victor Oladipo.

Bam Adebayo and Cody Zeller are both available.

Meanwhile, the Knicks will be without Jericho Sims, while Quentin Grimes and Julius Randle are both listed as questionable.

Randle averaged an outstanding 25.1 points, 10.0 rebounds and 4.1 assists per contest during the regular season, so his availability is significant for the series.

NBA's official injury report

The Heat defeated the Milwaukee Bucks (who were the first seed) in the first round in five games.

Despite being the eighth seed, they have one of the best rosters in the league.

The franchise has been to the Conference Finals in two out of three previous three seasons (and made the NBA Finals in 2020).

As for the Knicks, they beat the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round (also in five games).

They are in the playoffs for the second time in three seasons but won their first playoff series since 2013.

During the regular season, the Knicks were 3-1 in the four games they played against the Heat.

Following Games 1 and 2, the series will go to Miami for Games 3 and 4.

The winner of the series will advance to the Conference Finals and face off against either the Boston Celtics or Philadelphia 76ers.
