Miami Heat's Injury Report For Game 1
On Thursday evening, the Miami Heat will be in Colorado to face off against Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets for Game 1 of the NBA Finals.
For the game, they have announced their injury report (updated as of 4:30 Eastern Time).
The Heat have ruled out Tyler Herro and Victor Oladipo.
Meanwhile, Bam Adebayo, Gabe Vincent and Cody Zeller have all been listed as available.
The Heat have pulled off a sensational run through the Eastern Conference, as they are only the second eighth seed ever to reach the NBA Finals.
Through the first three rounds, they have defeated the Milwaukee Bucks (first seed), New York Knicks (fifth seed) and Boston Celtics (second seed).
This is the second time in the previous four seasons that the Heat have made the Finals, but the franchise has not won a title since the 2013 season.
The Nuggets are the first seed in the Western Conference and have defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves (eighth seed), Phoenix Suns (fourth seed) and Los Angeles Lakers (seventh seed).
While they were able to sweep the Lakers in the Western Conference Finals, the Heat's series with the Celtics went seven games.
Therefore, the Nuggets have significantly more rest heading into the series.
During the regular season, the Heat and Nuggets faced off two times, and the Heat lost both matchups.
That said, both games were within five points, so they have played each other close this year.
In addition to the Heat's miraculous run, this is the first time that the Nuggets have made the Finals.
