UPDATE: Heat And Knicks Injury Reports For Game 5
UPDATE: Haywood Highsmith, Jimmy Butler and Caleb Martin are all available.
Immanuel Quickley and Evan Fournier have been ruled out.
On Wednesday evening, the Miami Heat and New York Knicks are facing off at Madison Square Garden for Game 5 of their second-round playoff series.
For the game, both teams have announced their injury reports (updated as of 3:30 Eastern Time).
The Heat have ruled out Victor Oladipo and Tyler Herro, while Bam Adebayo and Cody Zeller are both available.
Haywood Highsmith is probable, and Jimmy Butler and Caleb Martin are both questionable.
As for the Knicks, Evan Fournier is questionable, Immanuel Quickley is doubtful and Jericho Sims is out.
The Heat come into the evening with a 3-1 lead, so they have a chance to close out the series with a victory in Game 5.
That said, the Knicks can force a Game 6 back in Miami on Friday evening (a potential Game 7 would be on Monday).
In the first round, the Heat beat the Milwaukee Bucks (who were the first seed) in just five games.
They are the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference and coming off a season where they made it to Game 7 of the Conference Finals.
Meanwhile, the Knicks are the fifth seed and defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round (also in five games).
They made the NBA Playoffs in 2021 but are coming off a year where they missed the postseason.
Whoever wins the series will advance to the Eastern Conference Finals and face off against either the Boston Celtics or the Philadelphia 76ers (the 76ers have a 3-2 lead in the series).
