Key Milwaukee Bucks Player Remains Out Indefinitely
On Monday evening, the Milwaukee Bucks will host the Denver Nuggets in Wisconsin.
For the game, they will remain without one of their best players, as three-time NBA All-Star Khris Middleton has been ruled out.
Middleton has missed each of the previous two games, so this will be his third straight out of the lineup.
Head coach Doc Rivers was asked about Middleton when he met with the media (on Sunday) and revealed that the NBA Champion guard remains out indefinitely.
Reporter: "You said the other night, Khris, at least the next couple he was probably gonna miss. Is there anything more definitive than that?"
Rivers: "No, just it's a bad ankle sprain, and it ain't gonna heal quickly."
Middleton has played 43 games this season and is averaging 14.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 5.0 assists per contest while shooting 48.7% from the field and 37.8% from the three-point range.
The 32-year-old is in his 12th season in the league and his 11th playing for Milwaukee.
The Bucks are the third seed in the Eastern Conference with a 34-19 record in 53 games.
They are 4-6 over their last ten games and are coming off a commanding 120-84 victory over the Charlotte Hornets.
Damian Lillard led the way with 26 points and eight assists, while two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo put up 15 points and 15 rebounds.
Following the Nuggets, the Bucks remain at home to host the Miami Heat on Tuesday evening.
In Milwaukee, they have gone 22-6 in 28 games.
