FINAL UPDATE: Malcolm Brogdon has been ruled out.
On Friday night, the Boston Celtics are hosting the Brooklyn Nets in Massachusetts.
For the game, both teams have announced their injury reports (updated as of 4:30 Eastern Time).
The Nets have ruled out Ben Simmons, Edmond Sumner and Yuta Watanabe.
Meanwhile, the Celtics will be without Mfiondu Kabengele, Danilo Gallinari and JD Davison.
Malcolm Brogdon is probable, while Jaylen Brown has been upgraded to available.
The Nets enter the evening in a slump.
They are the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 34-28 record in 62 games but are in the middle of a four-game losing streak.
In addition, the Nets are just 2-8 in their last ten games.
On the road, they have gone 16-16 in the 32 games they have played away from Barclays Center in New York.
As for the Celtics, they are one of the best teams in the NBA, with a 45-18 record in 63 games.
They are the second seed in the east and a half-game behind the Milwaukee Bucks for first.
Over the last ten games, the Celtics are 8-2, and they are an outstanding 25-7 in the 32 games they have hosted at home in Boston.
The two teams last faced off in February, and the Celtics won 139-96 (at home).
Jayson Tatum led the way with 31 points, nine rebounds and four assists in 29 minutes of playing time.
Last season, the Celtics swept the Nets in the first round of the NBA Playoffs (they ended up making the NBA Finals but lost to the Golden State Warriors in six games).
