New York Knicks Injury Report For Game 5
On Wednesday evening, the New York Knicks will be in Ohio to face off with the Cleveland Cavaliers for Game 5 of their first-round playoff series.
For the game, they have announced their injury report (updated as of 3:30 Eastern Time).
The Knicks have ruled out Jericho Sims, while Quentin Grimes is listed as questionable due to a shoulder injury.
The Knicks currently have a 3-1 lead in the series, so they can close out the Cavs with a victory on Wednesday night.
After splitting Games 1 and 2 in Ohio, the Knicks won both Games 3 and 4 on their home floor at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
On the road, the Knicks have been good this season, going 25-18 in 43 games.
They were the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference during the 2021 season but missed the playoffs last year.
That said, the Knicks did an excellent job of rebounding this year and finishing as the fifth seed with a 47-35 record.
If the Cavs win Game 5, the following game will be played back in New York on Friday night.
This is the first time the Cavs are in the playoffs since the 2018 season, but they have a very talented roster.
At home, they are 32-11 in 43 games hosted in Ohio.
Whoever wins the series will advance to the second round and face off against either the Miami Heat or the Milwaukee Bucks (the series is currently 3-1 in favor of the Heat).
