UPDATE: Nikola Jokic's Current Injury Status For Nuggets-Clippers Game

Nikola Jokic is on the injury report for Monday's game.

UPDATE: Nikola Jokic has been ruled out for Monday's game (via the NBA's official injury report).  

On Monday evening, the Denver Nuggets will be in California to face off against the Los Angeles Clippers.

For the game, they could be without their best player, as Nikola Jokic is on the injury report.

Jokic is averaging 28.8 points, 13.4 rebounds, 8.9 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 56.8% from the field and 31.1% from the three-point range.  

The Nuggets are 11-6 in their first 17 games, which has them as the fourth seed in the Western Conference. 

They are 5-5 over their previous ten games and most recently defeated the San Antonio Spurs by a score of 132-120. 

In 34 minutes of playing time, Jokic had 39 points, 11 rebounds, nine assists and one steal while shooting 17/29 from the field. 

Jokic is in his ninth season in the NBA (all with the Nuggets) and is coming off a year where he averaged 24.5 points, 11.8 rebounds, 9.8 assists and 1.3 steals per contest. 

Following the Clippers, the Nuggets will play their next game against the Houston Rockets (on Wednesday) at home.

As for the Clippers, they are 7-8 in their first 15 games, which has them as the 11th seed in the west. 

They are 4-6 over their previous ten games and most recently defeated Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks by a score of 107-88. 

Following the Nuggets, the Clippers will play their next game on Wednesday evening when they visit the Sacramento Kings.
