Nikola Jokic's Injury Status For Pelicans-Nuggets Game

Nikola Jokic is on the injury report for Thursday's game.

On Thursday evening, the Denver Nuggets are hosting the New Orleans Pelicans in Colorado.

For the game, they could be without their best player, as Nikola Jokic is on the injury report listed as questionable.

Underdog NBA: "Nikola Jokic (calf) listed questionable for Thursday."

The two-time MVP is having a phenomenal season with averages of 24.9 points, 11.9 rebounds, 9.9 assists and 1.2 steals per contest in 67 games.

He is also shooting 63.4% from the field and 39.0% from the three-point range.

In addition to his stellar play, the Nuggets are the best team in the Western Conference, with a 51-24 record in 75 games.

They are 5-5 in their last ten games but also in the middle of a four-game winning streak.

At home, the Nuggets have been sensational, going 32-6 in the 38 games they have hosted in Colorado.

Last season, the team dealt with injuries and finished as the sixth seed (they lost to the Golden State Warriors in the first round of the NBA Playoffs in five games).

As long as the Nuggets can stay healthy, they have the talent to make a deep run in the 2023 postseason.

Meanwhile, the Pelicans are the ninth seed in the west with a 38-38 record in 76 games.

Over the last ten games, they are 6-4, but they are just 14-25 in the 39 games they have played on the road away from New Orleans.

The Pelicans lost in the first round of the 2022 NBA Playoffs to the Phoenix Suns in six games.
