The starting lineups for both teams have been announced by Underdog NBA.

Underdog NBA: "Lineup alert: Pistons will start Cunningham, Hayes, Thompson, Stewart, Duren on Wednesday."

Underdog NBA: "Lineup alert: Heat will start Lowry, Herro, Butler, Love, Adebayo on Wednesday."

The Pistons are coming off a year where they went 17-65 and were the 15th seed in the Eastern Conference (they had the worst record in the NBA).

They have a lot of young talent on the roster but dealt with injuries last season.

The franchise last made the NBA playoffs during the 2019 season when Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond were still on the roster.

As for the Heat, they had a mediocre regular season and lost to the Atlanta Hawks in their first play-in tournament game.

However, they defeated the Chicago Bulls in the second play-in tournament game and got into the NBA playoffs as the eighth seed in the east.

They defeated the Milwaukee Bucks (first seed), New York Knicks (fifth seed) and Boston Celtics (second seed) in the first three rounds.

The Heat made the NBA Finals for the second time in four seasons but lost to the Denver Nuggets (in five games).
