Rockets And Clippers Injury Reports
On Monday night, the Los Angeles Clippers are hosting the Houston Rockets in California, and for the game both teams have announced their injury reports.
The Rockets will be without Darius Days, Ja'Sean Tate, Bruno Fernando and TyTy Washington Jr.
Meanwhile, the Clippers will be without John Wall, Kawhi Leonard and Robert Covington.
Coming into the night, both teams are struggling.
The Rockets are 1-6 in their first seven games, and they are also coming off having the worst record in the NBA last season.
They are not expected to be good as they are in a rebuilding mode, but they do have a talent such as Jalen Green, Jabari Smith Jr. and Kevin Porter Jr.
It may take a little time, but if they can develop those three players, they could be a potential playoff team a few years from now.
As for the Clippers, they are not in a rebuilding mode, and are expected to be competing for a title.
Yet, they are just 2-4 in their first six games of the season.
Leonard is their best player, but he missed the entire 2021-22 season, and this will be the fifth game (fourth straight) that he's missed on the new season.
In the two games that he has played in, he is averaging 12.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per contest in 21 minutes of playing time per game.
In addition, Paul George is off to a slow start to the season averaging 19.0 points per contest on 38.8% shooting from the field.
