On Friday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers are hosting the Atlanta Hawks in California. 

For the game, Russell Westbrook is on the injury report, but he is listed as probable.  

Underdog NBA: "Russell Westbrook (foot) probable for Friday."

The 2017 NBA MVP is coming off a phenomenal game on Wednesday evening when the Lakers beat Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat 112-109 at home in Los Angeles. 

In 36 minutes, Westbrook had 21 points, eight rebounds, nine assists and three steals. 

On the season, he is averaging 14.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, 7.7 assists and 1.0 steals per contest in 35 games.  

Last week, the Lakers played the Hawks at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, and Westbrook had 14 points, eight rebounds, 11 assists, one block and one steal (the Lakers won 130-121). 

Coming into Friday's matchup, the Lakers are in the middle of a three-game winning streak and 5-5 in their last ten games. 

They are the 12th seed in the Western Conference with a 17-21 record in 38 games. 

At home, the Lakers are 9-8 in 17 games. 

As for the Hawks, they are the ninth seed in the Eastern Conference with an 18-20 record in 38 games. 

Over their last ten, they have gone 4-6, and on the road, the Hawks are 7-12 in 19 games away from Atlanta.

In their game against the Lakers last week, Trae Young had a team-high 29 points to go with three rebounds and eight assists in 36 minutes of playing time.
