Steph Curry's Official Status For Warriors-Bucks Game
On Saturday evening, the Golden State Warriors will be in Wisconsin to face off against Damian Lillard and the Milwaukee Bucks.
For the game, they will be without their best player, as two-time MVP Steph Curry has been ruled out due to rest.
Via Anthony Slater of The Athletic: "Steph Curry is out tonight in Milwaukee. Rest. It is his third missed game this season, first due to rest."
Curry has played in 36 games and is averaging 26.7 points, 4.2 rebounds and 4.8 assists per contest while shooting 44.3% from the field and 39.8% from the three-point range.
He has been one of the best players in the league, but the Warriors are the 12th seed in the Western Conference with an 18-20 record in their first 38 games.
Over the last ten games, they are 4-6, and most recently, they beat Zach LaVine and the Chicago Bulls by a score of 140-131 on Friday evening at the United Center.
In 35 minutes of playing time, Curry had 27 points, five rebounds, nine assists and one steal while shooting 8/24 from the field and 6/15 from the three-point range.
Following the Bucks, the Warriors will visit the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday in Tennessee.
As for the Bucks, they are the second seed in the Eastern Conference with a 26-12 record in their first 38 games.
They are 5-5 over their last ten games and most recently blew out Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics by a score of 135-102 (at home).
