FINAL UPDATE: Cameron Payne has been ruled out.

UPDATE: Kawhi Leonard has been ruled out, according to Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.

On Thursday evening, the Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Clippers are facing off in California for Game 3 of their first-round series.

The series is currently knotted up at 1-1, so whoever wins Game 3 will have a 2-1 advantage.

For the game, both teams have announced their injury reports (updated as of 3:30 Eastern Time).

The Suns have listed Cameron Payne as questionable, while Paul George has been ruled out for the Clippers.

NBA's official injury report

The Clippers were able to win the first game of the series, but the Suns responded with a 123-109 victory on Tuesday night.

Devin Booker erupted for 38 points, while four other players scored in double-digits.

Kawhi Leonard and Russell Westbrook led the Clippers with a combined 59 points.

Both teams have highly talented rosters that can contend for the 2023 NBA Championship.

Therefore, whoever loses the series will be extremely disappointed with a first-round playoff exit.

The Suns finished the year as the fourth seed with a 47-35 record and have been one of the best teams in the NBA over the last two seasons.

They also traded for 13-time All-Star Kevin Durant in February, so they have arguably the best starting lineup in the league.

Meanwhile, the Clippers are coming off a season where they dealt with injuries and missed the playoffs.

So far, they have had to play without George, who is one of their best players and averaged 23.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.5 steals per contest during the regular season.
