The starting lineups for both teams have been announced by Underdog NBA.

Via Underdog NBA: "Lineup alert: Suns will start Gordon, Allen, Okogie, Durant, Nurkic on Thursday."

Via Underdog NBA: "Lineup alert: Lakers will start Russell, Reaves, Prince, James, Davis on Thursday."

The Suns will be playing without two of their three best players (Booker and Beal), so they will be shorthanded.

Booker had 32 points in Tuesday's victory over the Golden State Warriors, but Beal also missed that game.

If the Suns are able to have a healthy season, they will be a contender to win the title.

Last year, they lost to the Denver Nuggets in the second round of the NBA playoffs (in six games).

The Lakers played their first game on Tuesday when they lost to the Nuggets in Colorado by a score of 119-107.

They were unable to slow down Nikola Jokic, who had a triple-double, and LeBron James led the team with 21 points, eight rebounds, five assists and one steal.

Last year, the Lakers were the seventh seed in the Western Conference and lost to the Nuggets in the Conference Finals (in four games).
