Suns And Nuggets Injury Reports For Game 1
On Saturday evening, the Denver Nuggets will host the Phoenix Suns in Colorado for Game 1 of their first-round playoff series.
For the game, both teams will be fully healthy, as no one is on the injury report.
Via Harrison Wind of DNVR Sports on Friday: "No one on the injury report for either the Suns or Nuggets ahead of tomorrow's Game 1."
There have been a lot of injuries during the 2023 NBA Playoffs, so the fact that both teams will have all of their star players available to open the series is excellent news.
The Suns are the fourth seed in the Western Conference and are coming off a 4-1 series victory over the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round.
Devin Booker was sensational, averaging 37.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, 6.4 assists, 2.6 steals and 1.0 blocks per contest.
He also shot 60.2% from the field and 46.7% from the three-point range (and scored 45+ points twice).
As for the Nuggets, they are the first seed in the west and defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 4-1 in their first-round playoff series.
Two-time MVP Nikola Jokic averaged an incredible 26.2 points, 12.4 rebounds, 9.0 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 48.5% from the field and 50.0% from the three-point range.
Last year, the Nuggets dealt with injuries and lost in the first round of the playoffs, while the Suns are coming off a year where they lost in the second round.
Both teams have talented enough rosters to make the 2023 NBA Finals.
