Suns Injury Report Against The Lakers
On Friday evening, the Phoenix Suns will be in California to face off with the Los Angeles Lakers.
For the game, they have announced their injury report (updated as of 8:30 Eastern Time).
The Suns will be without T.J. Warren, Deandre Ayton, Devin Booker, Kevin Durant and Chris Paul.
Therefore, they will be very shorthanded for the matchup because four of their five best players have been ruled out.
The Suns come into the night with a 45-35 record in 80 games.
They are in the middle of a seven-game winning streak and are 7-3 in their last ten games.
That said, the Suns have struggled on the road, going just 17-23 in the 40 games they have played outside of Arizona.
As for the Lakers, they come into the matchup as the seventh seed (one of the four play-in tournament spots) in the Western Conference.
They have a 41-39 record in 80 games and are 7-3 over their last ten.
At home, the Lakers have been solid, going 21-18 in the 39 games they have hosted in Los Angeles, California.
Last season, the Suns had the best record in the league during the regular season but lost to the Dallas Mavericks in the second round of the NBA Playoffs in seven games.
Meanwhile, the Lakers went 33-49 and missed the playoffs (and play-in tournament).
The two teams last faced off in March (in Los Angeles), and the Lakers won the game 122-111.
D'Angelo Russell led the way with 26 points and six assists.
