Thunder And Lakers Injury Reports
On Friday night, the Los Angeles Lakers are hosting the Oklahoma City Thunder in California.
For the game, both teams have announced their injury reports (updated as of 6:30 Eastern Time).
The Thunder have ruled out Kenrich Williams and Chet Holmgren, while All-Star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is listed as questionable due to an abdominal injury.
Meanwhile, the Lakers will be without Scotty Pippen Jr., Cole Swider, Mo Bamba and LeBron James.
D'Angelo Russell is questionable (hip) and Anthony Davis is probable (foot).
The two teams are 1-1 against each other this year, so whoever wins Friday's showdown will own the tiebreaker.
Right now, the Thunder are 36-37 in 73 games and have gone 7-3 over their last ten.
That said, they have struggled on the road, going just 14-22 in the 36 games they have played outside of Oklahoma City.
While they had no expectations to make the playoffs coming into the year, the Thunder have the same record as the Lakers, Dallas Mavericks and New Orleans Pelicans.
Therefore, they will have a chance to end their two-season playoff drought.
As for the Lakers (who are also 36-37 in 73 games), they are 6-4 over their last ten.
They are on a two-game winning streak and a solid 20-17 in the 37 games they have hosted on their home floor in Los Angeles, California.
The Lakers won the NBA Championship over the Miami Heat in 2020 but are coming off a season where they went 33-49 and missed the playoffs (and the play-in tournament).
