UPDATE: Timberwolves And Lakers Injury Reports

The Minnesota Timberwolves and Los Angeles Lakers have announced their injury reports.

UPDATE: Jaylen Nowell has been ruled out.   

UPDATE: Anthony Davis and Dennis Schroder are both available.  

On Friday night, the Los Angeles Lakers are hosting the Minnesota Timberwolves in California.   

For the game, both teams have announced their injury reports (updated as of 7:30 Eastern Time). 

The Timberwolves have ruled out Karl-Anthony Towns and Wendell Moore Jr., while Jaylen Nowell is questionable. 

Meanwhile, the Lakers will be without LeBron James, Scotty Pippen Jr., D'Angelo Russell and Cole Swider. 

Dennis Schroder and Anthony Davis are listed as probable.

The Timberwolves come into the night as the eighth seed in the Western Conference with a 32-32 record in 64 games. 

They are 4-6 in their last ten games and 12-18 in the 30 games they have played on the road away from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. 

As for the Lakers, they are the 11th seed in the Western Conference with a 30-33 record in 63 games.  

Over the last ten games, they have gone 5-5, and they are 15-14 in the 29 games they have hosted at home in Los Angeles, California. 

The Timberwolves and Lakers last faced off in October (in Minnesota), and the Timberwolves won 111-102. 

Anthony Edwards had 29 points, four rebounds and two assists in 38 minutes of playing time.

James (who is ruled out for Friday's game) led the Lakers with 28 points, seven rebounds and five assists in 37 minutes. 

Last year, the Timberwolves made the NBA Playoffs for the first time since 2018, while the Lakers went 33-49 and missed the postseason for the second time in four seasons.
