UPDATE: Tobias Harris' Current Injury Status For Hornets-76ers Game
UPDATE: Tobias Harris has been ruled out (h/t Gina Mizell of The Philadelphia Inquirer).
On Saturday evening, the Philadelphia 76ers will host the Charlotte Hornets in Pennsylvania.
For the game, the 76ers could be without one of their best players, as starting forward Tobias Harris is on the injury report.
Via Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer on Friday: "#Sixers power forward Tobias Harris is listed as questionable for tomorrow’s game against the Charlotte Hornets with a sprained right ankle. Harris injured his ankle in the fourth quarter of Thursday’s loss to the Milwaukee Bucks."
Harris is having a productive season with averages of 17.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 49.0% from the field and 33.8% from the three-point range in 60 games.
The 76ers are the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 36-30 record in 66 games.
They are in the middle of a two-game losing streak and are 3-7 over their last ten games.
Most recently, the 76ers lost to the Milwaukee Bucks by a score of 114-105.
Harris had 15 points, four rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block while shooting 5/11 from the field and 2/4 from the three-point range in 28 minutes of playing time.
Following the Hornets, the 76ers will play their next game on Monday evening when they host Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat.
At home, they are 19-15 in 34 games.
As for the Hornets, they are the 13th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 17-50 record in 67 games.
They have gone 2-8 over their last ten games.
