UPDATE: Trae Young's Current Injury Status For Mavs-Hawks Game

On Friday evening, the Atlanta Hawks will host the Dallas Mavericks at State Farm Arena in Georgia.
For the game, the Hawks could be without their best player, as Trae Young is on the injury report.
The two-time NBA All-Star has missed each of the previous two games, so this would be his third straight out of the lineup (if he doesn't play).

Young is averaging 26.9 points, 3.0 rebounds, 10.8 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 42.2% from the field and 36.4% from the three-point range in 39 games.
The Hawks are the tenth seed in the Eastern Conference with an 18-26 record in their first 44 games.
They are 4-6 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a three-game losing streak.
Most recently, the Hawks lost to the Golden State Warriors by a score of 134-112.
Following the Mavs, they will remain at home to host the Toronto Raptors on Sunday evening.
At State Farm Arena, the Hawks are 8-12 in 20 games.
As for the Mavs, they are the eighth seed in the Western Conference with a 24-20 record in their first 44 games.
They are 5-5 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a three-game losing streak.
Most recently, the Mavs lost to the Phoenix Suns by a score of 132-109.
Following the Hawks, they will return home to host the Sacramento Kings on Saturday in Texas.
