On Friday evening, the Miami Heat will host the Denver Nuggets in Florida for Game 4 of the NBA Finals.

For the game, they will remain without one of their best players, as Tyler Herro has been ruled out.

The former Kentucky star injured his hand during the first game of the 2023 NBA Playoffs, so he has been out for nearly two months.

Via Underdog NBA: "Tyler Herro (hand) listed out for Friday."

Despite playing without their star shooting guard, the Heat have been able to make a tremendous run and are only the second 8th seed ever to reach the NBA Finals.

During the regular season, Herro averaged 20.1 points, 5.4 rebounds and 4.2 assists per contest while shooting 43.9% from the field and 37.8% from the three-point range.

He is in his fourth season in the league (all with the Heat) and has helped them make the NBA Playoffs in all four years.

This is the second time in the previous four seasons the franchise has been to the Finals, but they won their last title in 2013 when LeBron James was still on the roster.

Currently, the Heat trail the Nuggets 2-1 in the series, so they will need a victory to avoid falling into a 3-1 hole before going back to Ball Arena in Denver for Game 5 on Monday night.

In Game 3 (on Wednesday night in Miami), the Nuggets won 109-94, and two-time MVP Nikola Jokic put up 32 points, 21 rebounds, ten assists and two blocks.
