UPDATE: Tyrese Haliburton is available.

On Friday night, the Indiana Pacers will be in Massachusetts to take on the Boston Celtics.

For the game, they could be without their best player, as Tyrese Haliburton is on the injury report.

Underdog NBA: "Tyrese Haliburton (ankle) listed questionable for Friday."

The 2023 NBA All-Star is in the middle of the best season of his career, with averages of 20.8 points, 3.7 rebounds, 10.4 assists and 1.6 steals per contest in 54 games.

He is also shooting a tremendous 48.8% from the field and 40.3% from the three-point range.

That said, Haliburton has missed each of the last six games, so this could be his seventh straight out of the lineup.

The Pacers got off to an excellent start to the season, but over the last two months, they fell off.

Right now, they are the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 33-40 record in 73 games.

They are 5-5 in their last ten games and 14-23 in the 37 games they have played on the road outside of Indianapolis.

Currently, the Pacers are 1.5 games back of the Chicago Bulls for the final play-in tournament spot.

As for the Celtics, they are the second seed in the east with a 50-23 record in 73 games, which has them 2.5 games behind the Milwaukee Bucks for the first seed.

They are 5-5 in their last ten games but an outstanding 26-9 in the 35 games they have hosted on their home floor in Boston.
