On Tuesday evening, the Indiana Pacers will host Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets in Indianapolis.    

For the game, the Pacers will be without their best player, as All-Star point guard Tyrese Haliburton has been ruled out.    

Haliburton also missed the team's last game, so this will be his second straight out of the lineup. 

Via The Indiana Pacers: "Tyrese Haliburton (left hamstring strain injury management) will miss the next three games, per Coach Carlisle. He will be re-evaluated on Saturday."

Haliburton is in the middle of a sensational season and is averaging 23.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, 12.6 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 49.6% from the field and 40.0% from the three-point range in 34 games.  

The Pacers are the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference with a 24-19 record in their first 43 games. 

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a two-game losing streak. 

Most recently, the Pacers lost to the Phoenix Suns by a score of 117-110 (in Arizona). 

Following Tuesday's showdown with the Nuggets, they will host Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday evening. 

At home, the Pacers are 13-8 in 21 games. 

As for the Nuggets, they are the third seed in the Western Conference with a 30-14 record in their first 44 games. 

They are 7-3 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a two-game winning streak. 

Following Indiana, the Nuggets will visit the New York Knicks on Thursday.
