On Friday evening, the Denver Nuggets are in Florida facing off against the Miami Heat for Game 4 of the NBA Finals.

During the first quarter, two-time MVP Nikola Jokic went to the locker room after rolling his ankle.

The clip of what happened can be watched in a video that ESPN tweeted.

Thankfully, the All-Star center was able to come back into the game.

Jokic is in the middle of a sensational 2023 NBA Playoffs, and is coming off a historic performance in Game 3 (on Wednesday night in Miami) where he put up 32 points, 21 rebounds, ten assists and two blocks while shooting 12/21 from the field.

Through the first 18 games of the Playoffs, he is averaging 30.5 points, 13.4 rebounds, 10.1 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting a remarkable 54.6% from the field and 47.0% from the three-point range.

The 28-year-old led the Nuggets to the first seed in the Western Conference, and they have defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves (in five games), Phoenix Suns (in six games) and Los Angeles Lakers (in four games) through the first three rounds of the Playoffs.

Currently, they have a 2-1 lead over the Heat, so a victory on Friday night would give them a 3-1 advantage heading back to Ball Arena in Denver for Game 5 on Monday night.

As for the Heat, they are only the second 8th seed ever to reach the NBA Finals, and they have defeated the Milwaukee Bucks, New York Knicks and Boston Celtics.
