On Monday evening, the Boston Celtics will be in North Carolina to face off against the Charlotte Hornets. 

For the game, they will be without two of their best players, as Al Horford and Derrick White have both been ruled out.

Al Horford (rest) - OUT 

Derrick White (personal reasons) - OUT"

White has played in 11 games and is averaging 13.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 4.5 assists per contest while shooting 46.7% from the field and 41.9% from the three-point range.  

Meanwhile, Horford is averaging 6.2 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists per contest while shooting 43.9% from the field and 34.1% from the three-point range in 12 games.

The Celtics enter the evening with an 11-2 record in their first 13 games, which has them as the first seed in the Eastern Conference. 

They are in the middle of a six-game winning streak and most recently defeated the Memphis Grizzlies by a score of 102-100. 

Kristaps Porzingis led the way with 26 points, eight rebounds, one assist, one steal and six blocks in 34 minutes of playing time. 

Following the Hornets, the Celtics will play their next game on Wednesday evening when they host the Milwaukee Bucks. 

As for the Hornets, they are 3-9 in their first 12 games, which has them as the 13th seed in the east. 

They are in the middle of a four-game losing streak and most recently lost to the New York Knicks by a score of 122-108.
