Rondo was the 21st pick in the 2006 NBA Draft out of Kentucky and played 16 seasons in the league.
In addition to the Cavs and Lakers, he also spent time with the Boston Celtics, Sacramento Kings, Chicago Bulls, New Orleans Pelicans, Dallas Mavericks, Atlanta Hawks and Los Angeles Clippers.
His career averages are 9.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 7.9 assists and 1.6 steals per contest while shooting 45.6% from the field and 32.4% from the three-point range in 957 regular season games.
He also appeared in 134 NBA playoff games and won NBA Championships with the Celtics (2008) and Lakers (2020).
Rondo made four NBA All-Star Games and led the league in assists three times.
There is an excellent case to be made that he should be a Hall of Famer one day.
