5-Year NBA Player Signs With Shanghai Sharks

Yogi Ferrell last played in the NBA during the 2021 season when he was a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Los Angeles Clippers.
Ferrell played in ten regular season games and averaged 5.6 points, 1.9 rebounds and 2.2 assists per contest while shooting 35.1% from the field and 32.1% from the three-point range (he also appeared in nine NBA playoff games with the Clippers).
Recently, the 30-year-old signed with the Shanghai Sharks (h/t Alberto De Roa of HoopsHype and Sportando).

Considering Ferrell is a talented scorer, it would be no surprise to see him put up significant numbers next season.
Before going undrafted in 2016, Ferrell had a stellar career playing for the Indiana Hoosiers.
He played four seasons in Bloomington and helped lead them to the Sweet 16 twice.
In addition to the Clippers and Cavs, Ferrell has also played for the Dallas Mavericks, Brooklyn Nets and Sacramento Kings.
His career averages are 7.7 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists per contest while shooting 42.0% from the field and 36.5% from the three-point range in 259 regular season games.

The best year of his career came in 2018 (with Dallas) when he played in all 82 regular season games and averaged 10.2 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists per contest while shooting 42.6% from the field and 37.3% from the three-point range.
Even at 30, Ferrell is still a player who could end up back in the NBA at some point before the end of his playing career.
