On Monday evening, the Boston Celtics lost to the Atlanta Hawks by a score of 120-118 (at State Farm Arena in Georiga).

Following the game, the team announced that they had assigned two players (Jordan Walsh and Jaden Springer) to the Maine Celtics (G League).

Maine plays the College Park Skyhawks (the G League affiliate of the Hawks) on Tuesday and Thursday in Atlanta, so it's possible that both Walsh and Springer will be recalled before Thursday's game between the Hawks and Celtics.

As for the Celtics, they are having an incredible season.

Despite Monday's loss, they still remain as the best team in the NBA (and the first seed in the Eastern Conference) with a 57-15 record in 72 games.

They will remain in Atlanta to face off against the Hawks on Thursday, and then travel to New Orleans for a matchup with the Pelicans on Saturday evening.

Last season, the Celtics beat the Hawks in the first round of the NBA playoffs (in six games).
