On Tuesday evening, the Dallas Mavericks will be in California for a showdown with the Sacramento Kings.

For the game, the Mavs could be without their best player, as All-Star forward Luka Doncic is on the injury report.

Via Underdog NBA: "Luka Doncic (Achilles) listed questionable Tuesday."

Doncic is having a sensational season with averages of 34.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 9.9 assists and 1.5 steals per contest while shooting 48.6% from the field and 37.3% from the three-point range in 62 games.

The Mavs are the seventh seed in the Western Conference with a 42-29 record in 71 games.

Doncic had 29 points, 12 rebounds, 13 assists, one steal and one block while shooting 10/24 from the field and 2/11 from the three-point range in 41 minutes of playing time.

Following Tuesday's matchup, the Kings and Mavs will face off (again) on Friday in California.

On the road, the Mavs are 20-14 in 34 games played away from Dallas, Texas.

As for the Kings, they are the sixth seed in the Western Conference with a 42-29 record in 71 games.

They have gone 7-3 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a two-game winning streak.

At home, the Kings are 21-13 in the 34 games they have played in Sacramento.
