Victor Wembanyama's Current Injury Status For Spurs-Jazz Game
UPDATE: Victor Wembanyama is available.
On Wednesday evening, the San Antonio Spurs will be in Salt Lake City to face off against the Utah Jazz.
For the game, the Spurs could be without their best player, as star rookie Victor Wembanyama is on the injury report.
Wembanyama missed the team's last game, so this would be his second straight out of the starting lineup (if he doesn't play).
Via Tom Orsborn of San Antonio Express-News: "Victor (ankle) & Keldon (knee) participated in shootaround but remain questionable for tonight."
Wembanyama is currently averaging 20.7 points, 10.4 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.3 steals and 3.4 blocks per contest while shooting 46.6% from the field and 32.1% from the three-point range in 63 games.
That said, the Spurs are the 15th seed (last place) in the Western Conference with a 16-56 record in 72 games.
They have gone 3-7 over their last ten games and most recently defeated the Phoenix Suns (at home) by a score of 104-102.
Following their matchup with the Jazz, the Spurs will play their next game on Friday evening when they return to San Antonio to host Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks.
As for the Jazz, they are the 12th seed in the Western Conference with a 29-43 record in 72 games.
They have gone 1-9 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a six-game losing streak.
Following San Antonio, the Jazz will play their next game on Friday evening when they host the Houston Rockets in Salt Lake City.
