Andrew Wiggins' Current Injury Status For Warriors-Mavs Game

UPDATE: Andrew Wiggins has been ruled out (h/t Anthony Slater of The Athletic).

On Friday evening, the Golden State Warriors will face off against Kyrie Irving and the Dallas Mavericks in Texas.

For the game, the Warriors could be without one of their best players, as 2022 NBA Champion Andrew Wiggins is on the injury report.

Via Anthony Slater of The Athletic: "Jonathan Kuminga, Gary Payton II and Andrew Wiggins are all questionable for the Warriors tonight in Dallas. The same knee issue for Kuminga, left ankle soreness for both Wiggins and Payton."

Wiggins is averaging 13.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists per contest while shooting 45.1% from the field and 35.8% from the three-point range in 67 games.

The Warriors are the tenth seed in the Western Conference with a 42-34 record in 76 games.

They have gone 7-3 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a six-game winning streak.

Most recently, the Warriors beat the Houston Rockets by a score of 133-110.

Wiggins had ten points, five rebounds and two assists while shooting 3/8 from the field in 23 minutes of playing time.

Following Dallas, they will return home to host the Utah Jazz on Sunday evening at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

As for Dallas, they are the fifth seed in the Western Conference with a 46-30 record in 76 games.

They have gone 8-2 over their last ten games.

Following Golden State, the Mavs will play their next game on Sunday afternoon when they host the Houston Rockets in Dallas, Texas.
