BREAKING: Anthony Davis' Final Status For Warriors-Lakers Game

On Tuesday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers will host the Golden State Warriors in California.

For the game, the Lakers will be without one of their best players, as 2020 NBA Champion Anthony Davis has been ruled out.

Via Chris Haynes of the NBA on TNT and Bleacher Report: "Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis (headache, nausea) will not play tonight against the Golden State Warriors, league sources tell @NBAonTNT@BleacherReport."

Davis has had a fantastic season with averages of 24.5 points, 12.6 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.2 steals and 2.4 blocks per contest while shooting 55.4% from the field and 28.0% from the three-point range in 74 games.

The Lakers are the ninth seed in the Western Conference with a 45-34 record in 79 games.

They have gone 8-2 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves by a score of 127-117.

Before leaving with an injury, Davis had four points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals while shooting 2/6 from the field in 12 minutes of playing time.

Following Golden State, the Lakers will play their next game on Friday evening when they visit the Memphis Grizzlies.

As for the Warriors, they are the tenth seed in the Western Conference with a 43-35 record in 78 games.

They have gone 7-3 over their last ten games and most recently defeated the Utah Jazz by a score of 118-110.

Following Los Angeles, the Warriors will visit the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday.
