Anthony Edwards' Current Injury Status For Pistons-Timberwolves Game

On Wednesday evening, the Minnesota Timberwolves will host the Detroit Pistons at the Target Center.
For the game, the Timberwolves could be without their best player, as All-Star guard Anthony Edwards is on the injury report.

Edwards is having an incredible season with averages of 26.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 46.5% from the field and 37.4% from the three-point range in 68 games.
The Timberwolves are the third seed in the Western Conference with a 49-22 record in 71 games.
They have gone 7-3 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a two-game winning streak.
Most recently, the Timberwolves beat the Golden State Warriors (at home) by a score of 114-110.
Edwards had 23 points, six rebounds and eight assists while shooting 7/18 from the field and 4/8 from the three-point range in 38 minutes of playing time.
Following the Pistons, the Timberwolves will play their next game on Friday evening when they visit the Denver Nuggets in Colorado.
As for the Pistons, they are the 15th seed (last place) in the Eastern Conference with a 12-60 record in 72 games.
They have gone 2-8 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a seven-game losing streak.
