On Sunday evening, the Minnesota Timberwolves will face off against the Chicago Bulls at the Target Center.

For the game, the Timberwolves could be without their best player, as All-Star guard Anthony Edwards is on the injury report.

Edwards has had another excellent season with averages of 26.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 46.3% from the field and 36.7% from the three-point range in 70 games.

The Timberwolves are the first seed in the Western Conference with a 51-22 record in 73 games.

They have gone 7-3 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a four-game winning streak.

Most recently, the Timberwolves beat the Denver Nuggets by a score of 111-98.

Edwards had 25 points, five rebounds, five assists and three steals while shooting 8/19 from the field and 0/8 from the three-point range in 39 minutes of playing time.

Following the Bulls, the Timberwolves will play their next game on Tuesday evening when they host Jalen Green and the Houston Rockets at the Target Center.

As for the Bulls, they are the ninth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 35-39 record in 74 games.

They have gone 4-6 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Brooklyn Nets by a score of 125-108.

Following Minnesota, the Bulls will play their next game on Monday evening when they host Dejounte Murray and the Atlanta Hawks.
