On Saturday evening, the Minnesota Timberwolves faced off against the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City.  

The Timberwolves dominated the final two quarters and won by a score of 119-100. 

All-Star guard Anthony Edwards had a fantastic game with 31 points, ten rebounds, five assists, three steals and three blocks while shooting 12/20 from the field and 5/7 from the three-point range in 35 minutes of playing time.  

He also made Timberwolves history.  

Via NBA.com/Stats: "Anthony Edwards (26) passes Kevin Love in 2013-14 (25) for the most 30+ point games in a single season in Timberwolves franchise history."

Edwards is having a fantastic year with averages of 26.5 points, 5.4 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 46.5% from the field and 37.3% from the three-point range in 64 games. 

With the victory, the Timberwolves improved to 46-21 in 67 games, which has them as the third seed in the Western Conference.    

They have gone 6-4 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a two-game winning streak. 

Following Saturday's win, the Timberwolves and Jazz will face off (again) on Monday evening in Salt Lake City. 

On the road, they are 23-13 in 36 games played away from the Target Center. 

As for the Jazz, they dropped to 29-38 in 67 games, which has them as the 12th seed in the Western Conference. 

They have gone 3-7 over their last ten games and are 20-14 in 34 games played at home in Salt Lake City.
