Paul Pierce Sends Out Shockingly Bold Tweet After Nuggets-Heat Game

Boston Celtics legend Paul Pierce sent out a tweet after Game 4 of the NBA Finals.

On Friday evening, the Denver Nuggets won Game 4 of the NBA Finals over the Miami Heat (on the road in Florida) by a score of 108-95.

Jamal Murray has been one of the best players in the entire NBA during the 2023 Playoffs, and he finished the victory with 15 points, three rebounds, 12 assists and one steal in 43 minutes of playing time.

Despite his poor shooting night (5/17 from the field), he had an impressive zero turnovers to go with his 12 assists.

While Murray has never made the NBA All-Star Game, he is widely seen as one of the best guards in the league.

During the Playoffs, he has averaged an incredible 26.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, 7.1 assists and 1.5 steals per contest while shooting 47.6% from the field and 40.1% from the three-point range through the first 19 games.

After the game, Hall of Famer (and Boston Celtics legend) Paul Pierce sent out a tweet with a very bold claim about Murray.

Pierce tweeted: "Jamal Murray is the best point gaurd in the league 😳😳😳"

The Nuggets have a 3-1 lead in the series (and won both games in Miami), so they will have a chance to win the NBA Championship on their home floor in Game 5 on Monday night.

They are the first seed in the Western Conference and have defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves, Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Lakers through the first three rounds.

Last year, Murray missed the entire season due to a torn ACL.
