BREAKING: Boston Celtics Reportedly Sign 3-Year NBA Player

Nathan Knight is coming off a year where he appeared in 38 regular season games for the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The 26-year-old averaged 3.7 points and 1.5 rebounds per contest while shooting 56.8% from the field.
He also appeared in two NBA playoff games, as the Timberwolves lost to the Denver Nuggets in the first round.
Recently, Knight was waived by the New York Knicks, and now ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports that he will sign a deal with the Boston Celtics.
Via Wojnarowski: "Free agent F Nathan Knight is signing a two-way deal with the Boston Celtics, sources tell ESPN."
Knight has had stops with Atlanta and Minnesota since leaving William & Mary. He spent training camp with the Knicks. Knight joins JD Davison and Neemias Queta as the Celtics' two-way players.

Knight has played three seasons in the NBA for the Atlanta Hawks and Minnesota Timberwolves.
His career averages are 3.7 points and 2.0 rebounds per contest while shooting 47.6% from the field in 108 regular season games.
He has also appeared in eight NBA playoff games and was with the Hawks when they reached the Eastern Conference Finals in 2021.

As for the Celtics, they will play their first game of the 2023-24 regular season on Wednesday evening when they visit the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
They are coming off a year where they were the second seed in the Eastern Conference with a 57-25 record.
In the first two rounds of the NBA playoffs, the Celtics defeated the Atlanta Hawks and Philadelphia 76ers.
However, they lost to the Miami Heat in Game 7 of the Conference Finals.
The Celtics have made the Conference Finals in five out of the previous seven seasons.
