Carter spent this past year playing for the Milwaukee Bucks and averaged 8.0 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists per contest while shooting 42.3% from the field and 42.1% from the three-point range in 81 games.
He played a crucial role in the Bucks finishing as the first seed in the Eastern Conference and having the best record in the NBA (58-24).
In addition to the Bucks, the former West Virginia star has also spent time with the Brooklyn Nets, Phoenix Suns and Memphis Grizzlies (he was the 32nd pick in the 2018 NBA Draft).
His career averages are 5.4 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.7 assists per contest while shooting 40.0% from the field and 39.7% from the three-point range.
Great pick up by the Chicago Bulls in getting Jevon Carter.

Jevon Carter not only plays hard on the defensive end, but he shot 42% from 3PT range last season!#BullsNation pic.twitter.com/dokkcLGUjL
There is no question this will be a significant pick-up for the Bulls, who were in need of guard depth and three-point shooting.
Last year, they finished as the tenth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 40-42 record.
The Bulls beat the Toronto Raptors in their first play-in tournament game but were eliminated by Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat in the second.
