BREAKING: Cleveland Cavaliers Reportedly Sign Former North Carolina Tar Heel

On Monday evening, the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Chicago Bulls (at home) by a score of 109-91.
Following the game (on Tuesday), ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the Cavs will sign Pete Nance to a ten-day contract.
Via Wojnarowski: "The Cleveland Cavaliers are signing F/C Pete Nance on a 10-day contract, sources tell ESPN. Nance has averaged 13.5 points and 7.9 rebounds for Cavs’ G League affiliate. He went undrafted in 2023 after spending his final college season at UNC."
Nice story for a hometown kid: Nance grew up in the Cleveland-area, and becomes the third in his family — including Larry and Larry Jr. — to play for Cavs.

Nance played five seasons of college basketball for Northwestern (four) and North Carolina (one).
This past year, he averaged 10.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.1 blocks per contest while shooting 42.2% from the field and 32.0% from the three-point range in 30 games for the Tar Heels.
The 23-year-old went undrafted in June but was with the Cavs during NBA Summer League.
He has spent the start of the 2023-24 season with the Cleveland Charge (G League).
