On Thursday evening, the 2023 NBA Draft is taking place at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

There have already been several trades during the day, and Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium now reports that the Dallas Mavericks and Oklahoma City Thunder have agreed to a deal.

Charania's first tweet: "Dallas is trading Davis Bertans and Cason Wallace at No. 10 to OKC, sources said."

Charania's second tweet: "OKC sends No. 12 and a TPE to Dallas as part of this trade, sources said. Dallas gets off the Bertans contract."

Bertans is coming off a season where he averaged 4.6 points and 1.2 rebounds per contest while shooting 39.0% from the three-point range.

That said, the sharpshooter has a lucrative contract that will pay him $17 million next season, so the Mavs will no longer have him on the books.

The Thunder get Wallace, who played one season for Kentucky and averaged 11.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.0 blocks per contest while shooting 44.6% from the field.

With the 12th pick, the Mavs will select Derrick Lively, who averaged 5.2 points, 5.4 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 2.4 blocks per contest while shooting 65.8% from the field in one season at Duke.

Via Charania: "Sources: Dallas is selecting Dereck Lively at No. 12. Mavs have coveted the Duke big man throughout the process."

The Mavs are coming off a season where they were the 11th seed in the Western Conference and missed the NBA Playoffs.

As for the Thunder, they were the tenth seed and lost in the play-in tournament.
