On Wednesday evening, the Milwaukee Bucks are hosting the Cleveland Cavaliers in Wisconsin.   

During the game, Damian Lillard made NBA history by moving ahead of Joe Johnson (20,407) for 48th on the all-time scoring list

Following Johnson, the next player for him to pass will be Mitch Richmond (20,497). 

Lillard came into the evening with averages of 25.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 6.9 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 42.7% from the field and 35.1% from the three-point range in 40 games. 

The Bucks are the second seed in the Eastern Conference with a 30-13 record in their first 43 games. 

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and are 6-4 over their last ten games. 

Most recently, the Bucks beat the Detroit Pistons by a score of 122-113. 

In 37 minutes of playing time, Lillard had 17 points, five rebounds, eight assists and one steal while shooting 4/15 from the field and 2/10 from the three-point range. 

Following Wednesday's game, the Bucks and Cavs will face off (again) on Friday in Wisconsin.

Lillard is in his 12th season in the NBA and his first playing for the Bucks.   

He had spent the first 11 years of his career with the Portland Trail Blazers, and led them to the NBA playoffs eight times (and the 2019 Western Conference Finals). 

His career averages are 25.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, 6.7 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 43.9% from the field and 37.1% from the three-point range in 809 games.
